In Honor of Helen Hubbard on the Occasion of Her 105th Birthday
WHEREAS, on January 8, 2025, Helen Hubbard will celebrate an extraordinary milestone, marking 105 years of life, wisdom, and service to our nation and community; and
WHEREAS, Helen is a proud and distinguished World War II veteran, whose courage and dedication to our country during times of great conflict exemplify the highest ideals of service and sacrifice; and
WHEREAS, Helen has been a steadfast and loyal supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, representing the spirit of resilience and devotion that mirrors her own life journey; and
WHEREAS, Helen now holds the remarkable distinction of being the oldest living resident of Jasper County, Missouri, a testament to the vitality, perseverance, and strength of character that has defined her life for over a century; and
WHEREAS, Helen's long and remarkable life serves as an inspiration to all who have had the privilege of knowing her, offering a living example of dedication to family, community, and country; and
WHEREAS, on this significant occasion, we come together to celebrate not only the longevity of Helen, but also the many contributions she has made to our country, our state, and our community;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Alan Snow, Mayor of Carthage, Missouri, do hereby proclaim January 8, 2025, as Helen Hubbard Day in Jasper County, Missouri, in honor of this remarkable woman who has lived a life of dedication, service, and joy.
We extend our deepest congratulations and heartfelt best wishes to Helen on this momentous occasion. May this day reflect the immense gratitude we feel for the sacrifices she has made and the legacy she continues to build.
