LEAF PICK UP OPERATIONS:   The citywide leaf pick-up program is underway.  The program runs from mid-November thru December.  The city is sectioned off into 4 areas and crews work in a clockwise direction through these areas.  Crews will be starting in Section 1.  Overall, the crews will make 2 passes throughout the city in this two-month time frame.  Please rake your leaves to the back of curb or along the street, but not in the street.  Bagged leaves, sticks, or other yard waste will not be picked up by the crews.  In addition, crews do not pick up leaves in the alleys.    If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Office at 417-237-7010.
