Ticket Payments for Carthage Municipal Division

It is the responsibility of the defendant to ensure contact information is up to date with the Municipal Court. Please contact us to update your profile.

Tickets that can be paid without going to court are listed on our Fine Schedule for Municipal Offenses. You will pay the amount on the schedule plus add $35.00 to the amount shown on the fine schedule. If there is a star next to the Fine you will not have to pay the extra $35.00. You will not have to go to court to pay the fines on the Fine Schedule but you will have to call (417) 237-7001 or go to City Hall at 326 Grant Street to pay the fine before your court date. If you don't find your type of ticket on the Fine Schedule you will have to appear in Municipal Court. 

If payment is made in person, payment must be made by cashier's check, money order, or cash in exact change. (Payment must be received before your court date, or a warrant may be issued.) We do not accept personal or business checks.

If you prefer to pay by phone with a credit card, please call City Hall at 417-237-7001. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. There is a small convenience fee added if you choose to pay by card.

  • November 10th and 17th
  • December 1st and 15th
