Lime Scooters
The City of Carthage has entered into a temporary agreement with Lime to allow electric scooters in Carthage. The City of Carthage supports the addition of this new transportation option for residents and visitors while also establishing guidelines and regulations for the safe and controlled use of these devices.
Lime's products and services provide a benefit to the City of Carthage, its citizens, and the surrounding community and are consistent with the city's goals and policies to provide safe, environmentally friendly, and affordable transportation options to the community. This temporary agreement will serve as a pilot project to determine the viability of this transportation option for the City of Carthage.
