The City Administrator is appointed by the City Council and is responsible for the implementation of policies and decisions made by the mayor and council.
Functions
The City Administrator:
- Prepares and submits an annual budget and a 5-year Capital Improvement Program to the council for consideration
- Serves as the Mayor's chief advisor
- Is responsible for the administration of all city processes.
The administrator makes recommendations to the City Council regarding:
- Capital Improvements
- Municipal Financing
- Planning and Growth
- Economic Development
- Services and Programming
Staff
The City Administrator's office staff includes an Executive Secretary.
